Announcement: Technical discussion as part of the 2nd project meeting "TIME4CLAY&LIME" – April 29, 2026, Kartause Mauerbach

As part of the second project meeting of the Erasmus+ project "TIME4CLAY&LIME," the IAGF, in cooperation with the Federal Monuments Office, is hosting a technical discussion at the Kartause Mauerbach on April 29, 2026. The focus will be on how lime and clay coatings, as traditional yet highly topical techniques, can be systematically reintroduced into the painting trade – as a contribution to health-conscious and sustainable construction and future-proof qualifications.

The expert discussion provides a forum for exchange between practitioners, continuing education providers, and researchers, as well as for discussing challenges, obstacles, and solutions: What skills are needed to use mineral-based systems? What are the obstacles and potential benefits of using these systems? And how can this content be prepared for continuing education in a way that is labor market-oriented, manufacturer-independent, and compatible with formal qualification pathways?
