WASTE! Rethinking textile waste - networking event on March 14 in Haslach

Under this motto, a network meeting will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Textile Center Haslach, to which representatives from industry, trade, design and universities are invited.

The Textile Center Haslach and the Institute for Applied Industrial Research in Vienna are part of the EU project SYMCRAFT, which strengthens synergies between industry and crafts. The focus is on developing ideas for the future-oriented use of textile remnants from industry in the craft and design sector. The aim is to come up with new, creative solutions across all sectors and to help ensure that waste is more widely recognized as a valuable resource in the future.

The focus of the network meeting is on mutual exchange and the opportunity to network with people from other areas to whom you otherwise have little access in your own professional environment. Best practice examples will be presented during keynote speeches and the current status of current challenges, innovative developments and EU directives will be discussed.
