Take Conference 2024 in Lisbon

From July 2 to 4, 2024, the scientific "Take Conference" took place in Lisbon, at which DI Heidrun Bichler-Ripfel presented the results of the EU project "3 LoE" in a lecture. Under the title "The critical role of enterprises in developing centers of vocational excellence (COVES)", she presented the important role of companies in the development of vocational training centers.

Cooperation between universities, training providers and companies
In her presentation, DI Bichler-Ripfel highlighted the key aspects of the "Centers of Vocational Excellence" (CoVEs). These centers are the result of intensive cooperation between universities, education providers and companies. Companies play a decisive role in the design of training content, practical training and the promotion of innovation.

Example from the 3LoE project: Energy efficiency consulting
A particularly vivid example of the successful cooperation within the 3LoE project is the newly developed qualification "Energy efficiency consulting", which will conclude with a formal training certificate. This qualification was developed in close cooperation with companies and aims to train specialists who are able to reduce energy consumption and thus contribute to achieving climate targets.

Economic impact of new qualifications with formal qualifications
DI Bichler-Ripfel also highlighted the economic impact of the newly developed qualifications with formal qualifications. These make a significant contribution to sustainable development by enabling skilled workers to gain further vocational qualifications through formal channels and thus making vocational training more attractive. Skilled workers who are able to reduce energy consumption not only contribute to the achievement of climate targets, but also promote the innovative capacity and competitiveness of companies.
