Anniversary celebration: EU project 3LoE meets the elite of the skilled trades

Cooperation & commitment to trade and crafts in Austria

On June 27, 2024, the doors of the Federal Trade and Crafts Division were wide open: The successful 10-year collaboration between the top managers was cause for celebration. Around 100 guests took the opportunity to congratulate them personally, exchange ideas and network. It was the perfect occasion to introduce the EU-funded 3LoE project to the elite from trade and crafts. After all, the EU supports innovative educational projects with this Erasmus+ project, especially for SMEs in the green economy.

High-ranking guests as multipliers

The anniversary celebration was held under the patronage of the prominent hosts: Renate Scheichelbauer-Schuster and Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kainz, Managing Director of the Federal Trade and Crafts Division. For 10 years, both have contributed significantly to strengthening the skilled crafts sector in Austria with a great deal of heart, foresight and commitment.

Numerous high-ranking guests from all over Austria, such as provincial division chairmen, federal guild masters and managing directors from the various trades, took the opportunity to personally congratulate the two jubilarians on the premises of the WKO in Vienna and express their thanks for their excellent work. The event attracted an impressive number of high-ranking guests from politics, business and the skilled trades, who act as important multipliers for the goals of the 3LoE project. The NQF5 projects "Technical consulting for energy efficiency" and the special module "High-voltage technology for car mechanics" were presented as best practices in further training for apprentices.

A milestone for the EU 3LoE project

The 10-year anniversary celebration showed that the 3LoE project is attracting a great deal of interest, is in tune with the spirit of the times and is on the right track to bring about sustainable improvements in the skilled trades sector. Topics such as permeability in vocational training, the recruitment of skilled workers and attractive qualifications are the focus.

The anniversary celebration was an excellent opportunity to present the objectives of the 3LoE project to a broad and influential audience. The far-reaching networks and influential positions of the guests can help the EU 3LoE project to increase the visibility of the measures achieved in the field of innovative and permeable dual vocational training.
