Lecture on E-Day 2024: AI in the service of the skilled trades: New ways to increase employer branding for small businesses in the trade and craft sector
Artificial intelligence seems to be on everyone's lips. The range of possibilities and the rapid development of tools is impressive. But what does this mean in concrete terms for small companies? And how can small businesses take advantage of this development?
Dr. Madeleine Block and Elaine Grubmann, BSc wanted to answer these questions on 23.05.2024 at the E-Day of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber with their presentation AI in the service of crafts: New ways to increase the employer branding of small businesses in trade and crafts. This presentation was intended to encourage small businesses in the trades and crafts sector to overcome potential hurdles and use AI tools to support them in their day-to-day work and strengthen their employer branding.
In a short presentation, the two presented 3 different applications that can help small businesses in trade and commerce to make their work more efficient and strengthen their employer branding: synclabs, ChatGPT and meiti.
While Synclabs can be used for videos that you want to translate into several languages in your own voice, ChatGPT can help with the formulation of all kinds of texts, such as job advertisements and reply letters, and can also create images or logos from texts via Dall-E. Meiti, on the other hand, is an AI-supported answering machine that uses the integrated AI chatbot to take customer inquiries when the company has its hands full and is unable to answer the call.
